What’s The Big Idea?

Strong Like Water, a leadership book disguised as a memoir.
On a mission to infuse strength w/ tenderness.

This is a book about healing, about waking up, about learning who you are - who you really, truly are at the core - and reclaiming and embracing all the pieces of yourself you long ago abandoned in the name of survival. In Her Own Words

“As a first time author, Jennie provided the guidance, structure, accountability, and inspiration I needed to bring my story to life. Best of all, she was able to do all this with a level of humor and grace that gave me greater confidence every step of the way.”

Throughout my writing journey, I heard so often that my story really fell more into memoir than a leadership book. I even tried to re-write it as a "how-to" but I just couldn't muster the energy. I thought to myself, if I'm bored writing it, I don't think it will be a very compelling read! This is why I'm so moved every time I get a review that highlights how refreshing it is to read a leadership book told as a personal story with heart.
